Development
This project is developing free, open source software. The source
code and development tools, including mailing lists, are hosted at
Sourceforge.net.
License
Different components are presently covered by different licenses:
- GNU GPL v2: HIP daemon, Linux kernel modules, GUI
- modified BSD: shim6/reap daemons, HIP abstraction library
Statement on U.S. Export of Encryption Source Code
This software is eligible for License Exception TSU as defined by
Sections 734.3(b)(3) and 740.13(e) of the Export Administration Regulations
(EAR). See the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security web site.
